Salah Offers Statement to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad following the controversy from his public comments.
The Incident
The striker was dropped from a vital match subsequent to criticising the club and claiming his relationship with manager had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.

He emphasized that the team's response remained positive. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
The midfielder also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “I understand there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”

Liverpool's form have remained strong in the games following the interview fallout. Jones believes the Salah's words were not designed to cause disruption.
