The former president's Family Member Seeks Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete maintains impressive social media audience

Kai Trump can count on numerous prominent backers when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates numerous golf courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He practically suggested to compete and relax," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains position 461 in AJGA listings.

However she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the best player in the world," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He advised me to play, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

Kai will face some of top competitors in professional golf at the competition, including second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA stated that involving Kai helps introduce golf to wider groups, specifically with youth audiences.

Kai boasts a massive following and just introduced a personal fashion and living label.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
