Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a California Traffic Collision
The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated game designer lost his life when his automobile collided and burst into flames on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his family, and all those touched by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
